TKD Power™ Chief Instructor Mr. Antony Panteli 6th Dan, paid a surpise visit to Canterbury tonight (05/05/2012) to make a special presentation to Canterbury Instructor, Mr. Gareth Avenell.
Following the announcement today, of Mr. Avenell`s superb promotion to 4th Dan (with distinction), Mr. Panteli turned up at the Canterbury class to present Mr. Avenell`s TKD Power™ 4th Dan Certificate and to perform the traditional custom of tieing the new belt around the waist the promoted `student`, or Jeja.
Mr. Panteli briefly spoke to the class relating his absolute pride in Mr. Avenell`s achievement, to which the Canterbury assembly replied with a richly deserved ovation for their Instructor.
